Microgaming has launched its video slot game, Thunderstruck II, on Android and iOS. The online game launched in May 2010, offering a ‘player achievements memory structure’ so returning users could use points from earlier games. This has now been recreated for mobile.
“The use of hardware acceleration is transforming the way we develop our games for the mobile arena,” said Neill Whyte, head of product channels at Microgaming. “It allows us to put our world-leading game titles onto the mobile platform, incorporating all of the graphics, effects and features that made the slot such a hit on the PC platform. Thunderstruck II is arguably one of our most popular and successful games, so it’s a great addition.”
Microgaming offers more than 600 unique game titles in 24 languages, including casino, poker and bingo. It has paid out more than £325m in prizes.
