Touchnote Launches iPhone App

Touchnote, the company that turns digital pictures into physical postcards, has launched its Touchnote for Mobile application for the iPhone. Touchnotes app lets users capture a personal moment with a picture and create a real postcard that can be shared with friends and family.
To use the app, take a photo, or select an existing image from your iPhone, add a message and the recipients address and send it directly to Touchnote via wi-fi or a mobile data connection. Touchnote then creates a physical postcard from the image and messages and ships it by first class mail from the UK to the US. Each postcard costs 1.49, $1.99 or 1.99, including shipping to anywhere in the world. The app features a user-friendly interface that guides the user through the process of customising an image, writing a message and selecting a recipient.
Everybody loves to share photos and send postcards, says Touchnote CEO, Raam Thakrar. Weve recognised that people want to do more with the photos that theyve taken on their iPhone, and show their friends and family what theyre up to. Touchnote for iPhone combines the ease of use, speed and personalisation possible in the virtual world with a physical memento.  With our app, its really easy to send photo-postcards on the move.
Touchnote for Mobile is available as a free download at the Apple App Store from today.
