Tough Mudder pens deal with Samsung to give its events a VR feel

Samsung Tough Mudder VRSamsung has become an official partner of ever-growing popular endurance event Tough Mudder to deliver exclusive VR content and on-site experiences at Tough Mudder’s UK events.

The partnership, which kicked off over the weekend and will run until the end of 2018 event season, will give participants the chance to access content through mobile, Gear VR headsets, Gear 360 portable cameras and wearable fitness devices.

Prior to each event, participants can get a taste of the action in VR through 360 previews of each obstacle – as they prepare to take part in the event for themselves. This VR action can also be enjoyed on-site along with other activities in the Mudder Village. In addition, Samsung will develop training programmes on its wearable fitness devices.
