Training Climate Hotting Up

Rob Thurner, lead trainer at the Mobile Training Academy (MTA) will be presenting tonight at a sell-out event organised by The Mobile Academy, a joint venture between Mobile Monday London and University College London (UCL Advances).

Thurner’s presentation is titled: ‘Marketing You Mobile Presence’. In it, he will explain how to integrate mobile into your above-the-line digital and mobile advertising plans, drawing on examples from Marks & Spencer, the FT, O2 Perrier and Procter & Gamble. The event will be attended by around 100 client-side and agency executives and entrepreneurs.

Last week, Thurner delivered a full-day MTA course on Mobile Couponing on behalf of the Institute for Promotional Marketing. He has also recently run a series of courses for agencies and brands in the Baltics, and will be running a number of bespoke training sessions for existing financial services and retail clients over the coming weeks.

“Things are really hotting up out there” said Thurner. “It’s clear that a shortfall in mobile knowledge and capabilities has held back investment in mobile, but the tide has now turned, as brands and agencies realise that this thing is not going to go away, and that the question is now not whether to upskill but how to do so.”
MTA courses focus on highly interactive, impartial workshop-based learning. For more information head for www.mobiletrainingacademy.com or text KNOWLEDGE plus your name to 88600.
