Ups and Downs

As regular visitors to the site will have realised, everything seems to be back to normal after the sustained malware attack of the last couple of days that took the site offline. We have identified the source of the problem, and are taking action to ensure that it can’t happen again, at least not via the same source.

We apologise for the inconvenience many of our readers will have experienced in not being able to access the site over the past couple of days. We thank you for your patience, and we thank all those readers who took the time to flag the issue up in case we weren’t aware of it. It was particularly galling for us, as the industry shows absolutely no signs of slowing down in the run up to Christmas, as a quick glance at today’s stories will confirm.

For those of you who subscribe to our weekly newsletter, this will be in your inbox tomorrow. There was no point sending it yesterday, as the links to the stories would not have taken you anywhere. If you don’t current subscribe to our newsletter, it only takes a couple of minutes to sign up using the ‘Register’ link in the top right hand corner of the site.
