Vente-Privee Invests in Programmatic Ad Platform

ventee privee mobileFrench flash sale retailer Vente-Privee has invested heavily in Adotmob, a mobile programmatic platform, in a deal thought to be worth 10m (£8.5m) that aims to improve Vente-Privee's mobile targeting.

Vente-Privee is a mobile-first retail service, offering time-limited offers on over 3,000 brands across fashion, home decor and more. It boasts over 30m members in eight different countries across Europe.

The deal see the retailer working with Adotmob to develop a data management platform to better segment its subscribers and improve targeting when it comes to offering sales or introducing new brands to customers. Adotmob will also help the retailer personalise content on its website to improve user engagement.

Adotmob was founded by Yannis Yahiaoui and Thomas Zaepffel in 2014. The company deals with mobile RTB technology and offers clients data analysis and segmentation tools. Last year saw Adotmob bring in over 3m in revenues, up 200 per cent on the previous year.
