E-book community Wattpad has announced an update to its iPhone app. The latest version of the app offers a number of usability improvements, with enhanced library management and auto-bookmarking, and simplified page navigation and reading experience. It also enables user to download and save the entire book to read offline; to share what they are reading on Facebook and Twitter; and to browse works in over 20 languages, and search by author, title, or genre.
Since its launch in 2006, Wattpad has clocked up over 4 million downloads. Theres a strong user-gerenated element to the service, with 20,000 stories published each month by thousands of emerging and established writers.
