12 Per Cent Buy Gifts After Seeing Them on Facebook

Facebook Amazon Wishlist12 per cent of UK Facebook users have bought a gift after seeing it in their News Feed, according to research commissioned by the social media firm.

The research also found that mothers are spending three times as long accessing Facebook on mobiles in the run up to Christmas.

Facebook says that 19 per cent of men will still be shopping for presents on Christmas Eve, compared to just eight per cent of women – which, given the long tail of online retail, potentially makes women more valuable for online retailers looking to target shoppers.
