2ergo Approved for Public Sector Messaging Apps

Mobile marketing firm 2ergo has become an approved supplier of messaging applications to the public sector. The companys approved status takes effect in January 09, and lasts for up to four years.
The award of the mobile solutions (ii) framework agreement was made following a competitive selection process held by OGCbuying.solutions, and means that the companys messaging products and solutions will be available to public sector customers. The new contract, negotiated with suppliers, such as 2ergo, is estimated to save the public sector around 170million.
2ergo says it expects the development to lead to the company winning multiple contracts from public sector bodies, including national and local government organisations, plus other non-government organisations. The contracts are likely to involve the company supplying a range of services, including those enabling the delivery of interactive mobile solutions such as mobile Internet, email, SMS and MMS.
2ergo, which has grown by 628% in the last five years, provides a range of  mobile enabling technologies, focusing on business, marketing and entertainment products and services. It enables organisations to take advantage of integrated mobile communications, by implementing closely targeted and personalised marketing and customer relationship management campaigns. Its products and services allow organisations to mobilise their business processes, reduce costs, increase sales and offer customers an enhanced experience, among other advantages.
In addition to public sector bodies, 2ergo works closely with small and medium sized companies, as well as multinational businesses, in sectors such as fast moving consumer goods (FMCG), financial services, telecom network operators and marketing agencies. Its customers include Microsoft, O2, FOX News, Yahoo and AT&T.
Being awarded approved supplier status is a huge feather in our cap, says 2ergo, Managing Director, Chris Brassington. Its testament to the standard of the broad range of products and services we provide and our experience as a supplier to a wide assortment of public and private sector organisations. To have come through such a difficult and gruelling selection process is equally rewarding.
