3 UK is to become the first mobile operator in the UK to offer music service Spotify. The service will be offered exclusively on the HTC Hero, 3s first Android handset.
Spotify enables users to access a universal jukebox of high-quality music on their desktops and mobile phones. Spotify on 3 will deliver the jukebox over 3a 3G network, and provide access to playlists while the user is offline. 
Spotify on 3 will be available on a 35-per-month, 24-months contract, with a one-off, and an upfront fee of 99. The package will include unlimited Spotify Premium for mobile and PC for 24 months (worth 240); 750 minutes of calls to other mobiles; unlimited texts and 3-to-3 calls; unlimited email, Internet browsing and Facebook; and free Skype-to-Skype calls.
