Our Publishing Masterclass event is filling up fast. More than 30 publishers have signed up for the event, which takes place in London in April.
Publishers attending include Penguin Books, Guardian News and Media, John Brown Media, Harper Collins, the Financial Times, Centaur Media, Telegraph Media Group, Haymarket Business Media, and Trinity Mirror plc. There are still places for publishing industry executives wishing to attend, however, and sponsorship slots are still open to mobile solutions providers.
The event takes place in London on 12 April, and will offer publishing executives a detailed briefing from mobile solutions providers on how to build a mobile website or mobile-optimised version of an existing website; create mobile apps; publish on tablets; use mobile coupons and advertising, including location-based advertising; and how to take mobile payments.
Each solutions provider will present an overview of their area of expertise, before moving to a round-table, surgery format, where the publishers will have an opportunity to ask each specialist more detailed questions. The event is free to attend for publishers.
The Mobile Publishing Masterclass is the second in our series of Masterclass events. Our Retail Masterclass takes place in London on 15 March. The latest companies to sign up for that include Ted Baker, Tesco.com and Boots. There are now almost 50 top retailers signed up for that event.
There are four more Masterclass events planned for 2011:
- Hospitality – May
- Travel – June
- Automotive – September
- Banking & Finance – November
