3GVision and Scanlutions in Mobile Barcode Partnership

US mobile marketing firm Scanlutions has partnered with 3GVision to launch the i?nigma Enterprise Management System for the management, creation and marketing of 1D and 2D barcodes in the US.

3GVision says that the i?nigma platform offers the most robust tracking and analytics of any code management technology available to advertisers and marketing campaigns. The i?nigma code designer enables users to save codes in all major formats, and embed logos, add footers/headers, change colours, resolution, and code size. The solution joins Scanlutions’ existing suite of mobile marketing tools.

2D barcodes allow any form of physical advertising to become mobile and expand on the message in the ad. Mobile users download a barcode reader, then scan the code using the phone’s camera. The app then directs them to a pre?programmed task, such as linking to a mobile internet site or downloading a piece of branded content or a coupon.
