50 and Counting for Our San Francisco Masterclass Events

More than 50 names have signed up for the Mobile Retail Masterclass and Mobile Travel & Tourism Masterclass, staged in partnership with Camerjam.

The two events are taking place in San Francisco, on 15-16 October. Places are filling up fast, but executives from brands in each sector can still register to attend for free.

Names already signed up for the Retail Masterclass include Walmart, The North Face, Safeway, Gap, and Diageo Wines. On the Travel & Tourism front, delegates include Hilton Hotels; Hornblower Cruises & Events; Visit Oakland; Travesse; and Cathay Pacific.

Each event will cover a broad range of topics, each represented by a mobile experts. After a brief introduction to each presenting company and the services they provide, we move to a roundtable Mobile Surgery format, with each mobile expert spending 15 minutes with one group of delegates on one table.

After 15 minutes, the mobile experts move round, until every delegate has had the opportunity to hear from each mobile expert on a one-to-one basis. Feedback from delegates at previous Masterclass events suggests this is where the event delivers real value.

Fraser McGruer has also joined the Masterclass team as business development director, with responsibility for developing the Masterclass business and opening up the events in new territories. The 2013 Masterclass schedule will be announced in the next few weeks, and includes event in the UK, US, Singapore and Dubai.
