More than 60 senior executives from the Automotive industry have so far registered to attend the Mobile Automotive Masterclass, the latest in our Mobile Masterclass series, staged in partnership with Camerjam.

The event takes place in London on the afternoon of 13 September. Companies confirmed to attend include Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar, We Buy Any, Nissan, Renault, Citroen, Ford, Vauxhall, Volkswagen Commercial, Mondial Assistance, and motors.co.uk.

One of those attending, Christopher Smith, online marketing manager at Autoglass/Belron, says: “Since launching our mobile site in December 2010, Autoglass® has seen traffic grow in leaps and bounds, as it provides a very convenient way for motorists to do business with us. Im attending the Mobile Automotive Masterclass because I want to learn how I can further enhance the user experience and maximise the potential of this channel.”

He, and other delegates, will hear from mobile experts from Velti, Somo, Navteq, Nuance and M&C Saatchi, who will explain how business in the automotive sector can put to mobile to work for them, with real-life case studies of successful campaigns and projects in this sector.

Our innovative format comprises of six, quick-fire, 15-minute case studies on core mobile areas, followed by in-depth round table surgeries where you can get the answers to the burning questions that will influence your mobile decisions.
They will also hear a keynote presentation from Jonathan Williams, e-marketing director at Auto Trader, who will explains to delegates how his company went mobile, the lessons learned, and the value the channel has added to their business. 

There are two more Masterclass events scheduled for 2011. The Mobile Sport & Leisure Masterclass takes place on 5 October 2011, and the final event of the year, the Mobile Brand & Agency Masterclass, takes place on 22 November.
