7-Eleven, Inc. has partnered with public benefit cooperation Veterans Advantage, to offer US military veterans exclusive benefits through the 7-Eleven app. Members of Veterans Advantage, which include active duty, retired, veteran, guard, reservists and family, will receive additional perks using the 7Rewards customer loyalty program.

“At 7-Eleven, we recognize and value the sacrifice our nations veterans have made to our country and are honored to offer a token of our thanks through our 7Rewards program,” said Joe DePinto, 7-Eleven president and CEO. “Were proud to collaborate with Veterans Advantage on this exciting initiative and thank all US military veterans for their service to our country.”

To use the program, Veterans Advantage members must first link their account to 7-Eleven and will automatically receive 800 points when they register for the 7Rewards customer loyalty program. As long as they scan their app at the checkout counter of participating stores, VetRewards level members can earn 1,000 loyalty points for every $10 spent.

Additional perks include a free medium coffee if a member registers before 25 February, and a free coffee or Big Gulp drink on Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Veteran’s Day. In a salute to the US troops, 7-Eleven also practices military-friendly franchising and hiring.
