App Store intelligence and optimization firm Mobile Action has acquired ASO (App Store Optimisation) tool Appmind. Mobile Action said the acquisition will help accelerate the company's growth by providing additional backend technology.

Additionally, as a result of the partnership, Appmind owner Gabriel Machuret, ASO expert and best-selling author of the ASO Bible and ASO Ninja, will join the Mobile Action team as a brand ambassador.

"In the Digital Age, the ability to get strong, actionable insights about your mobile application is critical to drive user acquisition, retention and engagement," said Mobile Action founder and CEO, Aykut Karaalioglu. "We've been big fans of Gabriel and Appmind for a long time and are excited to welcome him to the team and offer our customers an even more comprehensive ASO solution.”

Machuret added: "My mission with Appmind has been to provide hard-working developers and app managers with the tools they need to optimize their applications. Mobile Action has been on my radar for a while now, and simply put, I wanted to join the winning team. Mobile Action is the most complete ASO tool in the market and I knew together we could help our users migrate to an even more powerful system."
