A Very Merry Christmas to You All

Well what a year that was. It feels like our feet have hardly touched the ground, and 2011 looks like going the same way. You may have noticed we are looking to grow our team to ramp up our coverage of the global mobile marketing business. And we need to, because 2010 has been another incredible year of innovation, acquisitions and excellent work, with its fair share of drama too, and while we’ve done our best to keep you up to speed on it all this year, we’re committed to doing even more in 2011.

If you find an iPad in your Christmas stocking this year, make sure the first thing you do is to download the Mobile Marketing app. Subject to the usual approvals process, the current edition should be updated with a new one some time between now and the end of the year.

We would like to thank all our readers, sponsors, advertisers, contributors and suppliers for all your support in 2010. We couldn’t do what we do without any of you, so we are genuinely grateful for your efforts.

We are calling it a day for Christmas now, partly because we’ve been so busy keeping the site filled that we haven’t even started our list for Santa yet, but mainly because our IT support team wants to get started on some essential maintenance, so they too can have a Christmas, and they can’t do it until we stop posting stories.

We’ll be back with any major stories between Christmas and the New Year, and back in earnest on Tuesday, 4 January. In the meantime, we wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous 2011.
