Acision Launches Innovation Network

Messaging company Acision has launched the Acision Innovation Network, a partnership-based ecosystem that it says will enable the global communications community to collaborate on the creation of new applications and services to advance the way the world communicates.
The Acision Innovation Network features two membership levels: associate and partner. Associate members will have access to a framework for knowledge sharing, collaboration and solution development via published, open interfaces. A select group of companies will be invited to become partners, with the option to pre-certify their products and carry the Acision Assured brand. These companies will benefit from closer technical assistance, commercial collaboration and co-development to ensure proven, integrated, propositions ready for a rapid roll-out.
Acisions vision to create an ecosystem for innovators is a really interesting initiative as mobile operators seek to offer their customers new compelling applications, says  Mark Newman, Chief Research Officer at Informa Telecoms & Media. Acision is already a partner for half of the worlds mobile and broadband operators and this could be a strong incentive for any applications providers looking to maximise their global market reach.
