Mobile video company Actimagine says it will use CTIA Wireless 2007 to publicly launch its massive encoding and streaming solutions, and to demonstrate its DVD-like quality (24fps) full-length movies on Nokia, Sony Ericsson and Palm mobile phones.
Actimagines server-based massive encoding solution is based on the Mobiclip video codec, which marries high-quality content with low CPU-requirements. It allows content providers, aggregators and sharing sites to encode vast quantities of content for availability in high quality for mobile users. Also on display in public for the first time will be Actimagines http-protocol-based streaming solution, which together with the other solutions, addresses the growing market for video on demand (VOD), TV streaming and broadcast applications for mobile devices.
Actimagine will also reveal its US and international growth strategy, including its latest fundraising efforts, and outline its plans in terms of recruitment and establishment of a new US dedicated management team.
While Mobiclip is already the performance leader for video on memory cards for mobile platforms, Actimagines streaming and encoding solutions demonstrate the companys strategy for further expansion to become the de facto industry standard, says Actimagine CEO Andr Pagnac.  The comprehensive product range offers considerable development opportunities for content providers, aggregators, distributors, telephone manufacturers and operators to ensure consumers can enjoy video everywhere.
Actimagine will be exhibiting on stand no. 536 at CTIA, which takes place  at the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, Florida, from 27 29 March.
