Analytics firm adjust has added support for Apple TV to its mobile ad analytics and attribution tool. The company notes that this is the first time a dedicated marketing analytics solution has been announced for smart TVs.
adjust's offering for the Apple TV will allow app developers to analyze the aggregate behaviour of users targeted by ad campaigns, using adjust technology embedded in their Apple TV apps.
With Apple's recent announcement of the TVOS, iOS developers will be able to quickly port their iPhone and iPad apps over to their users' televisions and adjust will be able to tell them how that initiative pays off.
"There's a huge potential for our clients and partners to expand their activities onto the large screen,” said adjust CEO and co-founder,Christian Henschel. “As they do so, they will need to find out what works and what doesn't, whether it's evaluating the performance of marketing campaigns or of product features. In particular, we expect that our analysis of the effectiveness of TV ad spots will come in very handy for these marketers."
