Adobe Launches have Mobile Focus

Creative software company Adobe has launched several tools for the mobile space, including new tablet creative apps and the Adobe Digital Publishing Suite, Single Edition, which allows publishers to publish a single app to the Apple App Store. 

Adobe Touch Apps is a family of six touch screen applications, designed for tablets, that enable anyone to explore ideas and present them on the tablet device.

Meanwhile, Adobe has made it easier for publishers to release a single issue of their content for tablet devices, with the Adobe Digital Publishing Suite, Single Edition. This allows designers to use their existing skills to create tablet editions of their publications, without having to write any code, according to the company. 

The company also announced the Creative Cloud, a new initiative that puts work in the cloud, allowing for easier collaboration and sharing, says the company. Adobe also announced new deals, including a hookup with WoodWing, the tablet publishing platform. 

Adobe has also announced a series of deals that enhance it mobile offering. Firstly, it has announced an agreement to acquire Nitobi, the creator or PhoneGap and PhoneGap Build, the opensource development tool for building mobile apps. PhoneGap will become an integral part of Adobes HTML5 tooling and web standards strategy, says Adobe.

Tablet publishing platform WoodWing has alkso agreed to integrate and resell Adobes Publishing Suite.
