Adobe has appointed Lara Balazs as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Executive Vice President for Global Marketing.

Previously, she served as CMO at Intuit, a financial software company, where she oversaw a period of significant growth.

In her new role at Adobe, Balazs will lead the global marketing team responsible for managing Adobe.com, as well as overseeing events, campaigns, communications, social media, media operations, and marketing insights.

Balazs has held leadership positions at prominent companies including Amazon, Nike, and Visa.

“We’re delighted to welcome Lara Balazs to lead Adobe’s Global Marketing Organisation,” Shantanu Narayen, Adobe’s chair and CEO, said.

“As Adobe continues to deliver industry-leading product innovations across content creation and digital marketing, Lara’s unique experience across B2C and B2B industries and deep insights as an Adobe customer will help us engage our growing universe of users more effectively while expanding Adobe’s brand reach and impact.”
