The Association of Interactive Media and Entertainment (AIME), has unveiled its new board, following elections by its members, consisting of over 80 companies in the micropayment sector, including content providers, service providers and payment enablers.
The new board includes two new members: Andrew Burnett, head of operations at ITV Interactive & ITL; and Chris Newell, CEO of ImpulsePay. Rob Ellis, managing director of Telecom Express; Jeremy Flynn, director of Orca; Rory Maguire, head of payment services at 3 UK; Richard Mann, COO at Mobile Interactive Group; Phil Davies, director, commercial development at OpenMarket; and Graham Pottie, COO at BT Agilemedia have been re-elected for a further 2-year term.
They join serving chair, Edward Boddington, CEO, of Harvest Media Group and Toby Padgham, AIME CEO. Sally Weatherall, managing director of Strategic Brief, will continue as an advisor to the board.
AIME has also created a new Forward Media Group, which will act as a steering body for identifying new opportunities from which the industry can generate new revenues. This will include expanding on AIME’s recent analysis of the micropayment sector, which covered 125 different payment mechanics, and provided a full breakdown of the leading 28 solutions.
