Amazon Web Services (AWS) is launching a mobile applications business, according to a job listing for a software development engineer to work at the new initiative.
The new business will be responsible for creating iOS and Android apps, essentially bringing AWSs existing collection of cloud-based computing services to smartphones and tablets. 
The listing also revealed that the initiative will be based in Palo Alto, California, and that AWS is ideally looking for someone who has “built a Top 25 app”.
