Mobile solutions company Antenna Software has added two new directors to its board.
The company has hired former Reuters executive Graham Albutt and technology industry veteran Gary Haroian to the board, effective immediately.
Albutt is a UK citizen who has lived in the US for more than 14 years. He was a member of the Executive Committee of Reuters Group PLC, where he held a variety of executive management positions. Additionally, Albutt has driven four of Reuters largest acquisitions and consequent integrations in the Americas.
Haroian has more than 30 years experience as a manager, executive and director of technology companies. During the past seven years, he has been a director and audit committee chairman for 10 public or privately held companies; currently he serves as a director and audit committee chairman for Aspen Technology, Network Engines, and A123Systems. Previously, Haroian served as a director, audit chair and member of the merger and acquisition committee for Phase Forward (PFWD) and Unica (UNCA), which were acquired by Oracle and IBM respectively. He is a member of the UMass Boston Board of Entrepreneur Advisors and Mentors, the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and Corporate Directors Group.
“The international business acumen and knowledge of the software marketplace that both Albutt and Haroian bring to Antennas board of directors is critical to the companys immediate growth plans and long-term strategic direction,” says Jim Hemmer, president and CEO of Antenna Software. “As we expand into new verticals and geographies and prepare for future events, their wealth of experience and wisdom will fully complement our boards expertise and help steer the company to even greater success.”
The news comes on the back of Antenna Software last week being named a visionary company in Gartners Magic Quadrant of Mobile Enterprise Application Platforms.
