App Annie Launches Marketing Intelligence

App data and insights platform App Annie has launched a Marketing Intelligence solution for companies looking for data to improve user acquisition campaigns. The company said it hopes the solution will address what it sees as “a lack of a transparency both in paid and organic channels” which means that app publishers are facing challenges in effectively improving app discovery, user acquisition and ad monetization.
Marketing Intelligence provides insight into app store optimization, as well as insights into competitors’ app advertising strategy, including the partners they work with, creatives, tactics and messaging. It also enables users to keep track of an app’s ad creatives and network partners in one place, and understand when and where ads are running, and which ads are driving results.
James Peng, user acquisition director at Match Group, is an early user of the solution. He said: “Optimising Match Groups user acquisition is critical for my team to keep scaling our world-class apps while we generate the best return on investment possible for our investors.
