Apple has sent out invites to its latest press event on 10 September, and pretty much confirmed what it will be unveiling in the process.
The invite is decorated with a series of coloured circles, with the slogan “This should brighten everyones day” – a reference, no doubt, to the long-rumoured iPhone 5C, the plastic case of which will come in a variety of colours. 
Perhaps more interestingly, an identical invitation was sent out to Chinese publications including Sina Tech, suggesting that Apple might have finally struck a deal with China Mobile, the countrys largest operator. Apple CEO Tim Cook has reportedly held a series of meetings with the companys chairman Xi Guohua in the past few months, and if it can access its 740m subscribers, this could potentially unlock a whole new market for the iPhone.
