Apple is delaying the launch of the white version of the iPhone 4 until later in the year. The handset was originally due to go on sale this month, but in a to-the-point statement issued today, Apple says:
“White models of Apple’s new iPhone 4 have continued to be more challenging to manufacture than we originally expected, and as a result they will not be available until later this year. The availability of the more popular iPhone 4 black models is not affected.”
Hopefully those manufacturing challenges are nothing to do with that pesky antenna, but in any event, anyone who wants one will just have to wait a little bit longer.
