Apple planning host of product refreshes for remainder of the year

Apple Tim CookApple is reportedly lining a full stack of product releases for the second half of 2018 with iPhones, iPads, and MacBooks all among those on the on the agenda.

News of the releases comes from TF International Securities’ Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who shared a note for investors, seen by 9to5Mac and MacRumors.

Kuo predicts that we will see three new iPhones, including 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch OLED models, as well as a 6.1-inch LCD model, and updated iPad Pro models with Face ID and no Home button in 11-inch and 12.9-inch.

Meanwhile, processor upgrades are expected for Mac mini, MacBook Pro, MacBook, and iMac. Kuo believes there will also be the arrival of a low-priced notebook that could replace the MacBook Air within the MacBook lineup.

Meanwhile, Apple is said to be working on two Apple Watch models with bigger displays and heart rate detection features. The two models will measure in at 1.57-inches and 1.78-inches. And, finally, AirPods and AirPower will go into mass production during the third quarter of this year.

There’s yet to be word on when we can expect the products to be unveiled, but they may appear at the company’s annual September event.
