According to sources 'with knowledge of the plans', cited by 9to5Mac, the device will be revealed at an Apple event in March and then launch one month later, almost exactly a year after the launch of the original model.

9to5Mac claims that Apple has been working on camera technology for the watch, which could potentially be included in the next model, as well as other wireless, sleep tracking, and health sensor technologies.

The same event may also see the unveiling of a iPhone 6C, with a smaller 4" display and reduced specs compared to the 6S.
