Appminister has launched its cross-platform app aggregator, which presents users with a categorised range of mobile, web and social apps, from a selection of over 1.8m. Apps can be browsed by curated trending or app of the days lists, or via a multi-criteria search engine – enabling users to search by platform, popularity and price simultaneously.
Appminister users can also share content via Facebook, and are incentivated to do so through an offerwall loyalty scheme.
“We push certain apps not only according to the behaviour of the user, but also the behaviour of other users,” says Appminister CEO Stéphane Pitoun. “Appminister lets me know what my friends are downloading as well as what other users have downloaded after having chosen the same apps as me.”
Appminister says it will release Spanish and French versions shortly, and is looking into the development of a Mandarin version, in order to tap into the sizeable Chinese market.
