AppsFlyer App Measurement Platform Raises $7.1m

AppsflyerMobile app measurement platform AppsFlyer has raised $7.1m (£4.25m) in Series A funding.

AppsFlyer was founded in 2011 and its SDK is now present on more than 800m mobile devices, measuring more than $500m in mobile ad spend every year.  The company is among Facebooks approved mobile measurement partners and counts the likes of SEGA, Foursquare and Baidu as clients.

AppsFlyer provides app install attribution from paid, organic, viral and social campaigns, campaign analytics, in-app user engagement, lifetime value and ROI analysis and retargeting capabilities. The team will use the money to expand R&D and grow its range of products.

The funding was raised from Pitango Venture Capital and Magma Venture Partners, the latter of which was an early investor in Waze, acquired by Google last year, and Onavo, bought by Facebook.

AppsFlyer will also officially open two offices in New York City and San Francisco.
