Arcade Fire Releases Second-screen Video

Canadian band Arcade Fire has released an interactive video to promote its latest single, Just a Reflektor.

Created in partnership with Google, the video takes a unique approach to second screening. After opening a desktop site, the user is invited to sync a smartphone or tablet. The device displays a trigger, detected by the PCs webcam, to give users control over visual effects in the main video, and occasionally displays relevant imagery.

The Just a Reflektor video is an open source Chrome Experiment, showing off a variety of web technologies used in Googles browser. Try it out for yourself here.
