AT4 Test Wins Bluetooth SIG Approval

AT4 wireless has obtained official Bluetooth SIG (Special Interest Group) validation for its BITE T1111 Bluetooth low energy RF testing option.
Derived from the Bluetooth Basic Rate and EDR RF test cases, the low energy RF test cases have been optimized in terms of test duration and test cases implementation, by reducing the number of RF test cases, or introducing the direct test mode.
Commercially available since late 2008, BITE low energy option supports the RF Transmission and Reception test cases, for both nominal and extreme operating conditions, as defined in the recently-adopted low energy RF PHY Test Specification for Bluetooth 4.0.
With this achievement, AT4 wireless says it has ensured that all technologies and test cases supported by the BITE T1111 RF Tester are validated according to the Bluetooth SIG Test Systems Validation Guidelines, making this platform the worldwide reference for Bluetooth qualification testing.
We consider this success a very important milestone for the Bluetooth Community, due to the fact that the majority of the Bluetooth SIG-recognized Laboratories are using our BITE test system, says AT4 wireless Product Manager, Angel Romero.
