Augmented Reality – Its Only Natural

Science journal Nature has brought an AR advert for KAUST (King Abdullah University of Science and Technology) in Saudi Arabia to its pages.

Designed and developed by Naturejobs in partnership with creative 3D technology company Inition, the KAUST app launches an interactive model of the universitys rather swish campus.

“We wanted to develop this app to demonstrate how this technology can potentially be used for both editorial and commercial opportunities,” says a representative from Nature Publishing Group. “This proof of concept also demonstrates NPG’s ability to provide creative, bespoke promotional services to its customers, identifying and project-managing third-party expertise where necessary.”
