Kirsty Styles

The luxury tablet magazine unveiled by Nick Gee, Auto Trader’s director of mobile, at Mobile Marketing Live is finally available in Apple’s Newsstand.

The monthly ignition iPad app offers news, car reviews, features, in-app search functionality and interactivity to its readers.

Designed and built by content agency FuturePlus, it includes a live Twitter feed giving information about the vehicles for sale in Auto Trader. Readers can also post straight to their own Twitter or Facebook profiles from the app.

Gee said: “Mobile is an extremely important and growing channel for Auto Trader. With more than 1m unique users per month accessing the Auto Trader website on an iPad, via an internet browser or Auto Trader iPad application, we wanted to create an interactive and innovative publication that the audience can engage with at their convenience."

The launch price is £1.49 per issue.
