Auto Trader opts for Selligent to target customers with personalised messages

Auto TraderUK digital automotive marketplace Auto Trader has enlisted the help of Selligent Marketing Cloud, a B2C marketing automation platform, to better engage customers via their mobile devices.

Auto Trader – which sees 70 per cent of its around 55m cross-platform visits come via mobile each month – will use Selligent Marketing Cloud to bring together multiple data sources to create a more complete picture of its customers. With this data, the auto marketplace will use Selligent Marketing Cloud's push notification capabilities to deliver customised and personal messages across mobile devices ‘at the right time’. In addition, Auto Trader will be able to create customised web experiences based on real-time customer behaviour.

Auto Trader joins the likes of the InterContinental Hotel Group, Thomas Cook, ING, Ocado, and Asda in becoming a Selligent client.
