Autology Learning Company Launches Revision App

A smartphone and tablet app has launched to help UK school children revise for exams.
Homework Tutor has been created by online learning company Autology, which is already used in more than 650 schools, to give 11-19-year-olds access to 500,000 resources, including GCSE and A-Level textbooks and revision guides. The documents are searchable by topic, subject and key stage, giving age-appropriate results from within the companys database, which are all linked to the national curriculum.
The company says that trials in schools have shown the service to increase assignment results by one to two grades. It also has backing from the UK’s main body that supports the use of ICT in education, the NAACE. 
The app costs around £2.99 a month or £29.99 a year and is available on iOS Android and Windows 8 smartphones and tablets.
