The mobilemarketing awards 08 will be presented to the winners this evening at a ceremony in central London. The awards, organised by Vantage Conferences and run in association with Vodafone and Yahoo! celebrate the best in mobile marketing.
Mobile Marketing Magazine was on the judging panel for the awards, which feature 11 categories, including Best use of mobile in an integrated campaign; Best creativity in mobile marketing; and Best use of mobile in customer relationship marketing. Theres also an award for Best Agency, and a Grand Prix award, chosen from among the category award winners by guests attending the ceremony.
Companies in the running for an award include Aerodeon, Angel, BBH, Blyk, Dare Digital, Emap, Frukt Music, Marvellous, MindMatics, Mindshare Interaction, Mobile Interactive Group, Nokia Ad Business (formerly Enpocket) & i-movo, Profero, Rivers Run Red, Shake Interactive, Sponge and Zygo. Brands involved in the shortlisted campaigns include Guiness, Pepsi, The O2 and the FT.
