Bango Launches Dashboard for Operators

Mobile payments firm Bango has launched Bango Dashboard for Operators, an analytics platform which enables its MNO clients to view the digital purchases made with its operator billing offering.
Dashboard, which is a subscription-based product, displays details about both the products sold and the customers who bought them, which can be used to build engagement with subscribers through an understanding of their behaviour and purchases.
App store providers offering Bangos direct billing – which include Google Play, Facebook, Amazon and BlackBerry – can control the exact degree of data which is shared, including content name or the users device type.
Bango plans to widen its offering to include dashboards for other groups in the mobile content value chain, including app stores and larger digital merchants – and interestingly, Dashboard can also be extended to measure any app store or merchant payments not processed by its own platform, or to measure third party billing solutions.
