Belize Telemedia is getting ready to launch the nation’s first joint fixed-line and mobile voicemail system, powered by Comverse. The new system will replace two legacy systems.
The Comverse HUB next generation voicemail solution will allow subscribers to get their home, work and mobile voicemail in a single inbox, accessible over any interface, such as their mobile handset or web portal. The service also will allow Telemedia’s subscribers to have voicemail messages converted to email and forwarded to their email accounts.
With the Comverse web personal manager, subscribers will be able to personalise their voicemail experience and perform other self-service functions, such as creating distribution lists and forward, store or respond to any message using any device. By deploying the Comverse Messaging Gateway, Telemedia also will be able to run product and content campaigns over multiple mobile channels, such as SMS, MMS and WAP Push.
