The Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing (IDM) has announced headline case studies for its forthcoming mobile marketing event.
The Mobile and App Marketing. Whats Working for Leading UK Brands? event will reveal results from jewelers Links of Londons first venture into mCommerce. Mobile and app marketing campaigns from Heineken, Dorling Kindersley, and Nike will also be featured in detail, says the IDM.
The event, which takes place on the evening of 23 November, will feature a presentation from Links of Londons head of online Caroline Rolfe, who will give an overview of the companys mobile marketing strategy.
IDM Digital Council Chair, Steve Kemish says: “With more mobile phones in use on the planet than toothbrushes, there is no doubt that mobile is the most talked-about area of digital marketing right now, and marketers should be acting now to track its growth and explore how they can use it from here on in. This event will showcase brands at the forefront of mobile marketing, giving insight, advice and inspiration on just how to harness and make the most of this exciting new space.”
Zina Manda, director of event sponsor mardevdm2, says: “In the B2B world, mobile devices are often the first point of entry for an email message, social media touch point or web search. So its critical that we help educate B2B marketers about the best ways to incorporate mobile channels into their overall marketing strategy. Thats why we believe in the value of IDM events and support their role and message in the market.”
The Mobile and App Marketing. Whats Working for Leading UK Brands? event is free to IDM members and £19.50 for non-members. Head to the event page at the IDM website for more details and to book.
