Big Time and MTN Zambia Launch MTN Mega Millions Promo

Mobile marketing agency BigTime has partnered with MTN in Zambia to deliver the ‘MTN Mega Millions’ SMS promotion, targeting the operator’s entire customer base.

The MTN Mega Millions SMS promotion tests customers’ knowledge of MTN products and services. The promotion kicked off on 1 June and runs until 29 August, 2011. MTN customers can register for the promotion by texting WIN to 7777. All registered customers will accumulate points by giving correct answers to trivia questions asked during period of the promotion.

All participating customers stand a chance of winning daily cash prizes. One customer will be drawn from the entries on a daily basis and will be awarded 1m Zambian Kwacha (£128). During the weekly draw, one customer will be drawn and awarded K10m, while the final draw will see one lucky MTN customer being drawn at the end of the promotion and awarded with K100m.

The promotion is designed to stimulate and create a sophisticated mobile interaction between MTN and its customers, as a way of enhancing and strengthening the relationship with them.
