Text book aggregator BigWords.com has launched an Android app that enables college students to buy, rent and sell new, used and electronic textbooks at low prices. The Android app follows the launch of an iPhone version launched last year.
The app enables users to set their own shipping speed, and includes support for affiliate programs such as Amazon Prime, Barnes and Noble Membership, and half.com. Users can buy from the merchants inside the app, or email a link to themselves, while a ‘Textbook Buyback’ feature allows users to compare offers from companies ready to buy their books at the end of the term. 
BigWords.com is owned by Bigger Words. Since 2001, the BigWords.com price comparison site has been saving students money on textbooks through its proprietary multi-item price optimization technology.
