RIM is hosting the BlackBerry World conference from 3 – 5 May in Orlando, Florida. The conference will cover the latest developments on the BlackBerry platform.
The conference, aimed at business leaders, IT professionals and BlackBerry Channel Partners, gives attendees the chance to talk to industry experts and network with peers. The show will feature keynote addresses from leading figures in the mobile space, and allow attendees to gain experience of the latest BlackBerry products, such as the PlayBook tablet.
The event will feature sessions hosted by the Wireless Enterprise Symposium (WES), which will cover BlackBerry-specific topics such as BlackBerry solutions for business, as well as wider sessions on mobile strategy for 2011. Channel Tracks will allow BlackBerry Channel Partners to learn about various aspects of the BlackBerry ecosystem, from consumer markets to enterprise and SMB BlackBerry deployments.
There will also be an event for BlackBerry Alliance members prior to the conference, on 2 May. The BlackBerry Alliance Summit will give members updates on the BlackBerry platform, and allow them to network and discuss issues with RIM business development teams. BlackBerry Alliance Members include ISVs, content providers, developers, system integrators, hosters, professional services providers, and platform partners.
