British Cardiovascular Society Launches Event App

The British Cardiovascular Society has launched an event app to promote its annual conference and exhibition.
The app, developed by Blitz and Propeller Mobile, is aimed at the more than 2,000 health professionals expected to attend the event. Users can access details of exhibitors and presentations, maps of the venue, and communicate directly with other event participants.
It also enables the event organiser to broadcast alerts regarding key events or changes via push messaging, and features an ‘Event Genius’ function, which suggests sessions and exhibitors to the user based on their areas of interest. 
The app is available for iOS and Android, with a mobile web version further extending its crossplatform reach.
