BT has launched an app that will allows video-conference calls via an iPhone, iPad, or Android tablet or phone. 

The app, called BT Engage Meeting Mobile, is a scheduling and automation tool that allows the host to control their video conference equipment and quickly launch a meeting using a mobile device. BT says it is compatible with all the major video conferencing manufacturers, including Cisco, LifeSize, Polycom and TANDBERG.

The app works with BT Engage Meeting Manager, a web-based conference call-management tool. It allows a meeting host to control the meeting in-room or on the go.

The free BT Engage app is available via iTunes and Android Market.
