Budweiser and Aurasma App “Literally Puts the FA Cup in Fans Hands”

Aurasama has partnered with FA Cup sponsor Budweiser to bring Augmented Reality to the brands Man of the Match Android and iOS app. By scanning promotional beer mats with their smartphone, users can access a 3D model of the trophy.
“Part of Budweiser’s mission as FA Cup sponsor is to bring the famous trophy closer to the fans,” says Iain Newell, Budweiser European marketing director. “The collaboration with Aurasma literally puts the trophy in the hands of football fans across the world and builds added anticipation for the final stages of the competition.”
