BuildaBazaar Introduces Third Party App Store for Merchants

buildabazaarIndia-based eCommerce platform BuildaBazaar has unveiled a Third Party App Store in one of its biggest releases since its launch. The store gives merchants who use BuildaBazaar new features and tools to increase their sales and improve customer experience within their eCommerce sites.

BuildaBazaar operates a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model, enabling businesses to create online retail stores with a secure payment gateway, logisitics support and promotional tools. Launched in 2011, it powers more than 25,000 stores, and has a presence in Africa, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and United Arab Emirates, as well as India.

With the introduction of the Third Party App Store, merchants using BuildaBazaar can connect their stores with hundreds of third party applications using a simple sign up process, enabling them to add specific features to their stores without having to develop them independently. In addition, it enables developers to publish applications that work seamlessly with BuildaBazaar, growing their business.

“We intend to grow this vertical further by focusing on helping application developers work on the platform and assisting merchants integrate these apps on the BuildaBazaar store,” said Manu Midha, vice president of Infibeam.com, which powers BuildaBazaar.
