When Mobile Marketing editor David Murphy had a scannable QR code shirt custom made for MWC, it seems like he may have been setting a trend for mobile fashion – as Asda has added Zappar AR T-shirts to its George range of clothing.
The seven T-shirt designs, which start from £6, can each be scanned with the Zappar app to trigger animated 3D content, including interactive games.
“Expanding the Zappar technologies into the fashion industry and integrating augmented reality into clothing demonstrates the limitless opportunities for the brand,” says Zappar MD Caspar Thykier.
